Vocational Education Center Wins an Award
RCME’s Vocational Education Center at Thoraipakkam was announced as the unanimous winner of the ” Social Impact Award” given by Grundfos Foundation Denmark. It won on the grounds of efforts to improve plumbing skills among youth in India to impact beneficiaries & their families. It also recognised the participation of Grundfos staff in the curriculum development & training. As the winner, the center gets funds to the tune of EUR 20,000 that will be used for the purposes of the center.
This recognition at an International Level was got amidst stiff competition. Grundfos is present in 58 countries & actively participates in CSR projects across the globe. There were over 100+ CSR project entries from Grundfos companies worldwide for the competition.
It is a matter of great pride that our RCME’s project not only got shortlisted as a finalist, but went on to unanimously win the Award.

Last but not the least huge thanks to Sudar who got us Mahatriya and Srini Rao as fundraiser chairman who collected 1 crore and 11 Lakhs with which we developed the centre.
